Nairobi Field of Dreams - Unearthing our Field

We're starting to do regular video updates from the field so our community of supporters can see the changes and improvements as they happen! You’ve made such a great impact with your donations. Thank you!

Here’s a video update today from our dirt extraction site at Nairobi’s field of dreams for the JKUAT baseball and softball fields.

All of the money we’ve raised in the last month has allowed us to take our next big steps and get some important parts of the project underway. Thank you to everyone who has donated! As they say, “this is your money at work!”

In this update, you meet Wycliff Nyachwaya, lead architect on the project and adjunct professor with the JKUAT department of architecture. He's also the owner of Bao Designs Company LTD .

Next, this weekend we’ll have trucks moving this dirt to the field location to get it ready for grading and levelling. Grading and levelling will begin next week.

Why do we need this dirt? Watch the video to find out.

More donations = more ability to do work.

We’ve got a backstop, dugouts and fencing to build after we start laying down the field. But we don’t have enough for that yet. Help spread the word so we can keep building to achieve a playable field by December.
