🌍 The Nairobi Field of Dreams is coming to life. ⚾️

What started off as a dream four years ago alongside of @discoverjkuat , starting with a single field, is now coming to reality and growing into the vision we started with - building one of Africa’s first multi-field baseball and softball complexes - a true Field of Dreams to be the epicenter of play for generation of athletes across, Kenya, East Africa, and the entire continent.

Our team is currently improving our first field (Field 1) in preparation for the upcoming WBSC Africa Continental Softball Qualifiers (Nov 25–30), while construction on our new field (Field 2), a full-size international baseball field, is well underway.

And we’re not stopping there - plans are already in motion for a third space (Field 3) - which has become possible when revising the plans for Field 2, thanks to the ingenuity of our JKUAT architecture and landscape architecture teams. As a result we’ll have another Little League and softball diamond designed for young players. Field 3 will start as a practice space, and one day we hope to raise funds to be able to add a backstop and benches.

When complete, the Nairobi Field of Dreams will host up to three games at once, bringing together over 400 players a day - a true home for baseball and softball in Africa.
