Nairobi Diamond Dreamers Youth Baseball Clinic

The Nairobi Diamond Dreamers Youth Baseball Clinic will be a day of baseball and skill-building activities for youth ages 8 - 15, exclusively available through RSVP due to limited availability. Following the clinic, youth, their teams, and their families are welcome to stay to watch a Nairobi Baseball Community league game between the Nairobi Buffaloes and the JKUAT Generals. 

Hosted by IfWeBuildIt.org and in partnership with Delta Airlines, the half-day clinic will be held at the Nairobi Field of Dreams at JKUAT in Juja. The event will provide youth from all backgrounds with the opportunity to learn about baseball on a real field, under the guidance of experts. Every skill level, from basic to advanced will be supported.  Food and refreshments will be provided to youth who have RSVPd thanks to Delta Airlines. Adults attending will be able to buy food from onsite vendors during the course of the day.  

Partnering with Delta Airlines, the clinic aims to increase sports access, expose youth to higher education opportunities, and unite communities through the love of baseball. Interested participants, groups and teams must secure their spots by RSVPing and receiving confirmation from IfWeBuildIt.org to join us for a day filled with baseball, inspiration, and community building.

With an agenda packed from morning till afternoon, including skills training, life skills speeches, and plenty of game time, the clinic is a unique chance for Nairobi's youth to step onto the field and dream big. 

 Agenda 

• 8-9 am - Arrival and Registration - Get ready for a day full of excitement! Please arrive early to complete registration.
• 9 am - Opening Remarks - Welcome messages from our proud partners, including Delta Airlines, IfWeBuildIt.org, and players and coaches from the Nairobi Baseball Community.
• 9:30 - 11:00 am - Baseball Skills Training - Dive into the world of baseball with expert-led training sessions across fielding, throwing, catching, and hitting.
• 11 - 11:30 am Snack and Water Break and Life Skills Speech.
• 11:30 am - 1:30 pm - Additional Skills Activities and Games - Continue the fun with more skills activities and engaging baseball games.
• 1:30 - 2 p.m. - Lunch and Refreshments, Closing Remarks - Wind down with lunch and refreshments as we share closing remarks and celebrate the day's achievements.
• 2 p.m. - Nairobi Community Championships Series Game - Nairobi Buffaloes vs. JKUAT Generals - youth and event attendees are welcome to remain to watch a live baseball game as that is part of the Nairobi Community Championship Series (no tickets or RSVP are required to attend this event).
